“Zach has much to say for Free Street. It’s called gratitude.
My spelling may be wrong, but thanks, big freak thanks.
Your life is worth living and has made my living, life.”

Zach Fiaocca, Alumni of Youth ensemble

See a Show: Our productions attract a wide range of audience members; from the most frequent theater goers and fellow practitioners to first timers, from teens to elderly with the majority falling around the middle, and like our ensembles represent the diversity of the city.

Teens: If you want to develop your theatrical creative skills, new ensembles form in the spring and the fall. Contact us early to find out about possibilities.
In fact, contact us now: gogogo@freestreet.org or (773) 772-7248

Teaching Artists/Directors: Free Street enjoys meeting artists who are interested in exploring with youth. Teaching artists bring their own experiences and learn to work within the Free Street framework/ philosophy of training. Free Street hires teaching artists who want to learn more about our process, have their own artistic passion and would enjoy diving into the creative muck with the youth. If you are interested in working with us contact us so we can meet.

Educators: If you would like a Free Street Residency at your school contact us at gogogo@freestreet.org or (773) 772-7248. Free Street is also a certified provider of CPDU credits (If you don't know what CDPU credits are, it is not important).

Donate: Free Street is committed to providing the highest quality arts education free to students who would otherwise not have the opportunity to study like this. Actually, you'd be hard pressed to find such intensive training for any price, anywhere in the world. Free Street believes quality education needs to be available for everyone, especially youth whose education suffers simply because of the socioeconomic bracket they were born into.

You can help open the potential of youth.

Thanks.

“You’ve given me a new vocabulary. You gave me new goals in life (not just in acting). You’ve shown me that I want things that I never knew existed (an inspired life). There are things in my life that I thought I wanted and am now re-thinking (fame). You’ve shown me not just how to “act” but to react, and live life in a way, by applying this idea. I just thought of something else. You’ve taught me to take risks, be real, and play within the boundaries and
to sometimes break them. I love Free Street for that.“
