See a Show: Our productions attract a wide range of audience members; from the most frequent theater goers and fellow practitioners to first timers, from teens to elderly with the majority falling around the middle, and like our ensembles represent the diversity of the city.
Teens: If you want to develop your creative skills, new ensembles form in the spring and the fall. Contact us early to find out about possibilities. In fact, contact us now: gogogo@freestreet.org or (773) 772-7248
Teaching Artists/Directors: Free Street always enjoys meeting artists who are interested in exploring with youth. Teaching artists bring all their own experience and learn to work within the Free Street framework and philosophy of training. Free Street hires teaching artists who want to learn more about our process, have their own artistic passion and would enjoy diving into the creative muck with the youth. Free Street received a grant from the NEA to work with an emerging director for two years. If you are interested in working with us contact us so we can meet.
Educators: If you would like a Free Street residency at your school contact us at gogogo@freestreet.org or (773) 772-7248. Free Street is also a certified provider of CPDU credits.
Donate: Free Street is committed to providing the highest quality arts education free to students who would otherwise not have the opportunity to study like this. Actually, you'd be hard pressed to find such intensive training for any price. Free Street believes quality education needs to be available for everyone, especially youth whose education suffers simply because of the socioeconomic bracket they were born into. You can help open the potential of youth. Thanks.
